What determines your cost estimate
Four factors account for most of the variation between patients.
Wound severity and Wagner grade
A superficial ulcer may need only intensive wound care and offloading. An infected wound with bone involvement or gangrene requires surgery, extended antibiotics, and longer inpatient stay. This single factor drives the largest cost difference.
Procedures required
Revascularization (reopening blocked arteries), debridement, skin grafting, or reconstructive surgery each add specific surgical fees. Your cost estimate lists every procedure separately so nothing is bundled or hidden.
Length of stay
Straightforward cases with no vascular complications may resolve in 2–3 weeks. Complex multistage treatment often requires 4–8 weeks. We give you an estimated range at the outset and update it as your plan is confirmed.
Coordination and logistics
Our coordination fee covers your dedicated bilingual coordinator, pre-travel record review, scheduling, translation of all clinical documents, and aftercare follow-up calls. Accommodation and flights are separate and arranged by you.

How does China compare on cost?
Direct cost comparisons between health systems are complicated — what's bundled, what's billed separately, and how insurance interacts all vary by country. What we can say honestly: patients who have received quotes from private hospitals in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, or Australia consistently find that our all-in estimates are substantially lower for comparable specialist care.
The gap is largest for surgical procedures. Inpatient nursing and consumable costs are also lower. The difference is not a sign of lower quality — it reflects China's lower operating costs and our direct hospital relationships with no insurance or broker markup.
